Earlier this evening Annie Lennox hosted a second listening party, this time in the UK, for her forthcoming album Nostalgia.

Held at the 20th Century Theatre in Notting Hill, the invited attendees from the music industry and press were given a preview of Nostalgia.

The Gay Times tweeted “We’ve just arrived at an exclusive playback of the new Annie Lennox album. To say we’re excited is an understatement. ” and tweeted this photograph. Later in the evening, they tweeted “The @AnnieLennox album is beautiful #nostalgia”

The Head of Entertainment at Facebook UK Vanessa Bakewell tweeted “Excited to be at the @AnnieLennox listening party! Beautiful beautiful music.”

Hannah Hope from the Daily Mirror also tweeted “Excited to be @AnnieLennox #Nostalgia listening party”

Yvette Caster from Metro UK tweeted a few quotes from Annie – ‘I forget that I’ve got a body of work. I don’t listen to it’  and ‘Music will touch you no matter who or where you are’ .

Neil McCormick from The Daily Telegraph wrote Annie Lennox says she doesn’t write songs anymore cos she’s too happy. So I told her charming husband Mitch he’s got to treat her worse.

Nostalgia is scheduled to be released at the end of the month in the USA on vinyl initially followed by a CD and download release, and a few weeks later in the UK.
