Annie Lennox was interviewed by Kirsty Lang for the BBC Radio 4 Arts and Entertainment programme Front Row. The show broadcast last night features an interview with Annie Lennox talking about the re-interpretations of the tracks on Nostalgia, and understanding what the term “cover” means. Annie also talks about her draw to the jazz genre through her love of The Blues. Annie talks about Strange Fruit and the issue of race and talks about the current riots in the USA and how the lessons have not been learnt. Annie also talks about her stage fright and how it used to give her sleepless nights, but now accepts how to perform live without the anxiety.
