As we’ve mentioned here many times in the last 10 months, Stevie Nicks is releasing her first new solo album in 10 years called In Your Dreams on May 3rd, 2011.
Stevie has been working with both Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard on this album, along with Mike Campbell from Tom Pett’s Heartbreakers, Waddy Wachtel, Steve Ferrone and Mick Fleetwood and is believed to be made up of 9 tracks.
During the last week, Dave Stewart has spent 4 days filming for a DVD \ Documentary to accompany the release, and has mentioned on Twitter he is hoping to tour with Stevie in the US to promote the album.
As a taster, if you pre-order the album you’ll get access to a download of Secret Love, the first single, which will be available from online stores for download on February 3rd.
Secret love to me sounds like a traditional Stevie Nicks track, but with a defined Dave Stewart touch of magic. Having heard Dave’s Blackbird Diaries album, on which Stevie Nicks has also recorded a track, and inspired a track, I have high hopes for this album.
