The eighties were the decade of the Eurythmics. In 1999, the two came back with the unexpected for many common album, “Peace.” Nostalgia was certainly no reason for the comeback, which was sent clear on the following “Peace Tour”.

Dave Stewart opened the concert with hard, distorted guitar chords, and the Eurythmics brought their old songs in reduced, scraped into the present version. Even at the last concert of its “Peace Tour” in London’s Docklands, they showed that they have indeed made their peace with the past, but still ready “when tomorrow comes.”

That’s the introductory text for the Rolling Stone Live On Stage German re-release of the Eurythmics DVD Peacetour.

The DVD is one of 12 re-released as a project between Rolling Stone and Sony, their website can be found here.  The DVD itself is presented in a metal tin case and the labels are printed onto the metal.
