Yesterday evening, Annie Lennoxperformed at The Skoll World Forum on Social Entrepreneurship.

The Skoll World Forum on Social Entrepreneurship is the premier, international platform for accelerating entrepreneurial approaches and innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing social issues.

Each year in Oxford, 800 distinguished delegates from the social, finance, private and public sectors convene in Oxford for three days and nights of critical debates, discussions and work sessions aimed at innovating, accelerating and scaling solutions to social challenges.

Annie looked stunning in her red dress last night, and she performed an amazing 5 song solo set.

She opened with Pavement Cracks, There Must Be An Angel Playing With My Heart, Here Comes The Rain Again and then Little Bird.  Annie then returned to the stage and finished with an encore of Sweet Dreams.

Annie’s voice was incredibly powerful last night, and very rich, and as we’ve come to expect from Annie, she really had fun with the songs, especially her ad libbing in Sweet Dreams to make it specific to the spirit of the forum, and singing parts of Little Bird in Latin Style!

The event has been posted on YouTube but sadly due to copyright issues, Annie’s performance has been edited out.  Here’s a short video about the Skoll Forum which features Annie.
