The King & Queen Of America video saw Dave and Annie at their most creative costume wise and saw the most costume changes of any videos that they’ve ever done previously or since. Becuase of this, the artwork used in various reelases, promotional and standard was taken from a huge range of posibilities.
This 12″ promo for King & Queen Of America come from Brazil and features Dave Stewart and Annie Lennox in their Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe outfits. What makes this sleeve particularly interesting is that the image has actually been reversed somehow in the production process, probably a negative that got reversed, so you’re seeing Dave and Annie here as they see themselves in a mirror!
