In exciting news this week from the South of France at Antibes where the MIPTV Festival has been taking place, Dave Stewart and Cat Deeley have been involved in securing interest in their new show concept called Treasure Tag.

Digital Rights Group has acquired the international distribution rights to Whizz Kid Entertainment’s Treasure Tag, and will launch the primetime entertainment format to international broadcasters at MIPTV.

Treasure Tag also boasts celebrity co-creators, with the Eurythmics’ Dave Stewart, and So You Think You Can Dance‘s Cat Deeley in attendance at MIPTV. The format is available for all territories, with interactive packages. Treasure Tag lets loose a pair of treasurehunters armed with mobile phones, loaded with ground-breaking technology, to solve clues, find the objects and bank as much cash as possible before the clock runs out.

A pilot episode was recorded at The Hospital on the 15th February in London, where a team of two solved a series of clues around London whilst trying to bank as much cash as they couldalong the way. They then had the chance to win all the cash LIVE in the studio.

Here’s some press photos of Dave and Cat in France.
