This weeks record of the week is the Sexcrime 1984 Picture Disc that was released as the title song from the film adaptation of the George Orwell novel.  The song also became the show opener on the Revenge tour when the stage was revealed from behind a giant zipper that opened the curtains which then dropped to the floor.  The video for the single was filmed at London’s Battersea Power Station, the same location where Annie Lennox recently filmed the video for her duet with David Grey, Full Steam.  The single sells in the region of £8-£10 these days, but did once command a price in the £20-£25 area.  The disc itself is clear, and features a very strong logo from the 1984 film marketing.  With thanks to https://www.get-shot.co.uk/ for photographing these picture discs so professionally.
