Dave Stewart - Songwriting School Of Los Angeles

The Songwriting School of Los Angeles is honored to welcome Dave Stewart, hit songwriter-producer and founding member with Annie Lennox of Eurythmics, as our guest for Episode 10 of Songwriters on Songwriting, LIVE – Interviews by Paul Zollo. The live taping and broadcast takes place Monday, March 21, 8pm Pacific.

Dave Stewart is known as “the great collaborator” for his songwriting with countless legends, including Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, Bono, Ringo Starr, Stevie Nicks and Mick Jagger. With Annie Lennox he wrote and produced “Sweet Dreams Are Made of This,” “Here Comes The Rain Again,” “Missionary Man” and so many other classics. With Tom Petty he created “Don’t Come Around Here No More.”
“Dave is a dreamer and a fearless innovator,” said Bob Dylan. “A visionary of high order, an explosive musician who innately recognizes the genius in other people and puts it into play without being manipulative.”
As Stevie Nicks said, “He is my hero.”
“Dave and I are indelibly woven into each other’s history,” said Annie Lennox. “Like the Three Musketeers rolled into two, we were compadres on a great big roller coaster ride of creative adventure.”
