Sad news today that the British actor John Hurt has lost his battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of 77.
John Hurt played Winston in the film adapatation of George Orwell’s book 1984. There was a lot of controvesy over the soundtrack Eurythmics had been asked to create with the director Michael Radford.
