Guitar donated by LA’s Old Style Guitar Shop to benefit Planned Parenthood. Spurred into action by the November 2016 Presidential election, and the alarming assault on Planned Parenthood and other organizations, Reuben Cox, owner of Old Style in Los Angeles, spent the next five months inviting a diverse collection of musicians, artists and music industry luminaries, to autograph it for an eventual fundraising campaign for Planned Parenthood. By the time he had completed the project the guitar had been covered with over 100 signatures. The signed guitar is also a reflection of a group of concerned, like-minded artists at an important crossroad in American history.

Dave Stewart is one of the 100+ artists who have signed the guitar.

Thank you for sharing this, Steve. Unfortunately, I am not from the United States, but I stand with Planned Parenthood’s mission of providing care for girls and women (of course, not only) and respecting their sexual and reproductive rights. After all, that’s what Annie fights about! Feminism is certainly the way.

  2. Erin Malloy

Hee hee Henry Rollins signed right under Annie.

Angelica-All lives are equal, not just the unborn. A NUMBER of PP sites are there for all stages of women’s health. Many do not perform abortions. Lots of women go there for routine and low-cost Pap smears and mammograms. PP saves lives in the long-run. Do you know how many women will be left sterile, die or suffer miserably if they get cervical cancer, which is easily treated in the early stages to preserve a woman’s fertility? Do you know how many people are walking around with that virus that causes it? It’s huge. A number of places perform that which you find offensive, do you think hospitals that do them should be shut down too? I would strongly encourage anyone who finds PP offensive to do their homework. I say this as someone who has seen the benefit to women firsthand. To deny poor women access to PP will end in death and suffering.

And sorry for posting and it’s a long post, but it’s something close to my heart.
